Hela berättelsen
Jules arrives with an enormous question: what should he do with his life? He has wanted to explore this experience for several years. He has given himself time. On the way here, he imagines something hard, dark and difficult. Yet, when he tells the circle about these days, love is what he speaks about first. He says he explored it gently, through acceptance and letting go, within the experience and through his connections with the group.
That gentleness does not erase the intensity. Jules also describes an inner struggle, a moment so powerful that he did not know how to get through it. The presence of the team mattered to him. He explains how their support helped him through something he describes as overwhelming. His story holds both dimensions: the love he says he encountered and the difficulty of some passages.
During the experience, his great question shifts. Knowing what to do with his life no longer seems, in that moment, to be what matters most. What he describes is a connection to a power of love. But how can he talk about it? Before speaking to the group, he needs to talk with the team to find his words. He worries that labels might confine what he is trying to express. The more he speaks, listens and exchanges, the more he says he understands.
For Jules, integration is part of the journey. What happened during the ceremony continues to take on meaning in conversation. This is how we read his words: he came looking for an answer about what he should do. At the time of sharing, he speaks more about what he can connect with within himself and the space he can give the experience. He does not describe a life whose course is now entirely clear. He speaks of a long road, small steps, and something he is taking with him.
What Jules describes is his experience alone. Every person's journey is different. Thank you for listening. This was Ayahuasca Stories.
