The complete story
Christel arrived with this thought: continue the journey. She had not planned anything specific. On the final morning, she says she has learned a great deal. And as she listens to the others, the experience is still continuing. She thought she was simply doing her integration. Their words make her feel as though she has climbed another step.
She speaks of their intelligence, their sensitivity, the way they live through and understand what has happened. She wants to express what this means to her, but words fail her. The circle is not only a moment for telling her own story. In what she hears, something continues to nourish her path. She connects the group with this new step on the final morning.
When she turns back to herself, Christel speaks of a strong desire. Of a challenge to take on in life. She calls it a beautiful mission without saying what it involves. She explains how precious it feels to have that prospect at her age. Then, almost in the same movement, fear appears: will she have the energy to carry it? She also tells herself to stop being afraid.
In her account, we hear both momentum and doubt. She does not say that all her fears have disappeared. She expresses a desire to live out this mission and wonders whether she can find the strength for it. She came to continue her journey; now she names a step, with its joy, energy and uncertainty. Before finishing, she thanks the others: they are part of what she feels that morning. Her story leaves room for that desire without pretending to know everything that comes next.
What Christel describes is her experience alone. Every person's journey is different. Thank you for listening. This was Ayahuasca Stories.
